Mass arbitrations vs Class actions

Class actions are typically a claim based process where people who qualify fill out forms to recover their share of a settlement. Mass arbitration is similar but has its own wrinkles.

Signing up for what’s known as “mass arbitration,” involves hundreds or thousands of consumers bringing individual arbitration claims against the same company at the same time and over the same issue. This is different from class action litigation and takes place outside of court.

You still need to file an arbitration claim but lawyers are there to help fight for each and every person they represent. The damages could be a little different for people, but still significant amounts so we do not want people to miss out. A lot of companies these days are making people sign user agreements with arbitration clauses so we are seeing an increase in mass arbitrations. Please reach out if you get a notice or see a mass arbitration case you would like to participate in at info@caresettlements.com
